Machine Polishing to Correct Medium Paint Defects
A two stage machine polish is given to eliminate swirls, light scratches, oxidation and dull and hazy paintwork; a perfect upgrade after our single stage paint enhancement.
Eclipse Car Care offer the two stage paint correction service at our dedicated Staffordshire based detailing studio or alternatively as a mobile service to clients in and around Staffordshire & Cheshire.
TWO STAGE MACHINE POLISH – PROCESS;
- Alloy wheels cleaned; front facing, behind spokes and inner-rim
- Wheel arches flushed, door shuts cleaned
- Extensive wash process using the two bucket system and pH neutral shampoo/foam
- Tar deposits and iron rich/metallic contaminants chemically treated
- Remaining surface contaminants removed with a claybar; leaving a slick, glass-like finish
- Vehicle rinsed and dried with plush, ultra soft microfibre drying towels
- Scratches, oxidation, swirls and blemishes removed (>85% correction) via Dual action polisher
- Second machine polishing set to restore, refine and ‘burnish’ the finish to a jewelled high gloss
- Paintwork wiped over with Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) to remove residues and oils leaving a slick, clean base
- Two Layers of Carnauba Wax applied (upgraded options are available)
- Trim/britework/tyres dressed and protected as necessary including tailpipes
- Glass cleaned throughout

FINISHES
WAX FINISH – FREE
All our detailing packages include 2 coats of wax. This will provide protection for around 6 months if maintained in the correct way.
CERAMIC COATING – Available on Request
Ceramic coatings are extremely durable and offer protection on your vehicle from 1-5 years. Ceramic coatings are very hard wearing and will give some protection against light surface scratching caused by poor wash techniques etc. Your treated car will stay cleaner for longer and will be a lot easier to clean. A properly applied ceramic coating will also lock in your car’s factory fresh deep gloss shine for much longer than a normal wax.
ADDITIONAL EXTRAS
INTERIOR DETAIL – £60.00
All interior plastics will be fully cleaned and then dressed with Eclipse Car Care Interior Trim & Dressing, Carpets and seats deep cleaned and any leather areas will be treated with a leather conditioner.
INTERIOR PROTECTION DETAIL – £30.00 ON ALL PACKAGES
Leather/Fabric sealant is applied to provide great protection against dirt, UV rays and everyday use.
ENGINE BAY DETAIL – £30.00
All surfaces degreased and cleaned using APC, All Plastics dressed using Eclipse Car Care Interior Trim Cleaner & Dressing
